Making scheduling simple, for you and your attendees.
You may be familiar with Google Hangouts, which was once the free alternative to Google’s enterprise service, Google Meet Hangouts. In April 2020, Google Meet became part of the free plan and can now be used to host meetings with participants, regardless of whether they have a Google Account.
Google Meet video conferences are highly secure and encrypted in transit, with capacity to host up to 100,000 guests on a single call. This high threshold of users is typically reserved for paid services, making Google Meet an excellent option for companies working on a tight budget.
Attendees can join the meeting from their browser without downloading any software. With advanced features like noise cancellation and realtime voice-to-text speech recognition, Google Meet makes video conferencing more accessible to people who are hard of hearing or located in a noisy environment. You can also share your screen or target specific browser windows to further refine the focus of your meetings.
When someone schedule a Google Meet conference in Appointlet, they receive an automated email confirmation with a link they can use to join the meeting. Each join link is unique, so that attendees never join the wrong meeting. The option to reschedule or cancel a meeting is included in email notifications and calendar events for both the host and attendees. If that does happen, Appointlet will update the event in Google Meet automatically for ease of use.
It doesn’t look good when customers show up ahead of schedule and interrupt calls that they weren’t invited to. With automated, unique meeting URLs, hosts can rest assured that early arrivals won’t intrude on other meetings.
Simply connect your Zoom account to Appointlet and a unique Zoom URL will be generated for each of your video conferences.
Attendees receive a confirmation (and optional reminder) emails with a “join meeting” button so it’s easy to get on the call. Your team members can also access the Zoom meeting directly from the Appointlet dashboard, email, and calendar event details. When meetings are cancelled or rescheduled in Appointlet, the Zoom meetings will be updated accordingly.
