Stripe is a payment services provider for online and in-person retailers, marketplaces, and service providers. They use the best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security.
With Stripe connected to Appointlet, you’ll be able to set a price for each of your services and collect payment at the time of booking.
Companies outside the United States can choose a currency to be paid in, then update the scheduling page language from English to the preferred language of your customer.

Connect Stripe and you’ll be able to set prices on any of your meeting types. When people book a time with you, payment will be required.
Specify a Currency
Select the type of currency you want customers to pay with. If your organization supports payments across multiple countries, set up separate meeting types for each of them.
Refund Management
Set up a clear refund policy. If you do offer refunds for scheduled meetings, Stripe’s payment history dashboard makes it easy to locate and process a return.

Review all of the payments you’ve received over the history of your account with Stripe’s convenient dashboard. Filter by date to review your earnings in a given period.
Transfer Speed
Once you’ve booked customers with Appointlet, you can continue to invoice them through Stripe. This lets you charge clients for services unrelated to Appointlet.

Is the Stripe integration available on Appointlet’s free plan?
Payment collection is currently a premium feature, available on the paid plan only. After your 15 day free trial, you’ll need to upgrade to retain access to Stripe.
Can I refund Stripe payments through Appointlet?
At this time, refunds can be made through Stripe only. If someone cancels and you want to return their money, use Stripe’s transaction history dashboard.
Can I set up discounts, coupons, and packages with Stripe?
Appointlet does not support the use of discounts or coupons. It’s not possible to schedule multiple meetings with a single booking, so it is not possible to buy packages.
Are there any fees for collecting payment through Stripe?
Yes, Stripe's payment processing fee is 2.9% + 30¢ per successful card charge.
Does Appointlet charge a processing fee on top of Stripe’s?
No, we do not charge an additional fee. The only processing fee will be from Stripe. We do require a premium Appointlet subscription to process charges.
Is Stripe a reputable platform that my business can trust?
Yes, they are considered the world’s leading services for collecting payments online, alongside PayPal and Square Payments.
